Another field of specialisation in AR2 In Design is VALUATION and Education in Construction management & Architecture. Ar. Yatin is a senior and a well known and respected Valuer, practicing valuation for the last 26 years. He has been instrumental in the development of the institute of Valuers in Goa from its inception. He is of the panel of all leading banking institutions and Government as well as NGO bodies.
Many an Architecture and Construction management students have been taught and guided by Ar. Yatin. Through their studies inArchitecture. Ar. Yatin also has been conferred the honour of being invited to the Board of Studies inKolhapur University, and has been a faculty in D Y Patil College of Architecture at Kolhapur.
He carries his experience in nurturing upcoming Architects as well, through AR2 IN DESIGNS.
Under his leadership, Ar2 Designs collaborates with other Architectural firms across the country in designing and implementing infrastructure projects in Goa and outside of Goa.
At Ar2 In Designs, the philosophy is to approach various challenges of projects through design solutions using appropriate and Eco friendly materials and local techniques of construction with an innovation which blend with the environmental settings. Ar Yatin is also a color specialist and believes that colours affect our moods and have the power to make us and our surroundings happy. Ar2 Designs uses lot of colours in their design, which is believes it is a ‘ design therapy ‘ . The outcome is beautiful and pleasing, and giving the project a personal signature of the firm .
Currently Ar2 Design is involved with the design of the Cacora COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER project at Cacora. The project has incorporated new developments in hospital design like ‘ social spaces ‘ , optimisation of movement with ‘through visibility ‘etc.
Among other socio professional activities, Ar. Yatin has had the rare honour and privilege of being elected the National Hon. Secretary to the Institute of Indian Interior Designers – I I I D a Premier National professional body furthering the cause of the profession of Interior Design. He has also served on the Executive council of IIID for several terms, and was instrumental in the spread of the institute through creating Ten new chapters through India.
